New to Blogging

I've never used a blog before, so hopefully I can catch up with the rest of the class on the many "ins and outs" of blog usage. I assume it can't be much different than a personal website like that of facebook, much like an online diary. After today, I can't wait to hit the ground running with the different blog assignments to be completed. Hope everyone's having a great weekend so far!
